Coming from highway A2 direction Eindhoven take the junction 28 to Best and follow the signs ‘recreatiepark aquabest’ Remark: at the traffic lights you have to turn left AFTER the bridge (the second traffic lights).
This is an good freedive lake, not deep but very good for teaching and having fun. There are training platforms and bouys, there is an underwater house and several other objects including some wrecks. All marked with buoys. The maximum depth is 22 m. In the more quiet season large pikes (1.5m) are regularly seen at the platforms, a beautiful experience is night freediving in this period.

Underwater house? very cool…
There are actually a lot of dammed lakes in the alps that have this sort of underwater scenery. When a hydrodam is built, they never bothered to remove the houses. Just the people ;). I hope….
