This is a spot you can easily kayak to from the north end of Salt Spring Island.

It is a shallow dive spot, about 12 m until you hit a sloping sandy bottom. There are a lot of big rocks with plenty of juvenile rockfish, perch and more. The kayak trip itself is very beautiful and worth the trip alone. At low tide a rock shelf will be exposed on which you can gear up.
