Conception Island

The top of the wall is at 60 ft with big coral heads topping out at 40 ft, and extending down and over the wall to about 80 ft . This spot is mostly sheltered from the trade winds so its usually calm. You can see the heads from the boat. The wall drops vertically to about 90 ft, then in stages to bottomless, so you can pick your depth. The coral is good, decent large reef predators, some sharks, large quantities of jacks, barracuda and smaller fish. The visibility is 90 -200 ft. A great dive on a healthy reef, it is just so far out there its hard to get to. Nobody lives there, so you have to come by boat. Lots more diving in Concepcion. Google earth is a good reference. Definitely worth the effort to get there.
