Whisky Cove in Belcarra Park

Whisky Cove is a good spot in Belcarra park if you like to search for small life on a steep wall. There is parking on Belcarra bay r0ad, about 0.7 km after the turnoff from Bedwell bay road (see the park map here).

If you swim past the private wharfs there will be a little island to your left. There is a steep wall on the west side of the island that goes down to about 20 meters maximum. Expect to see crabs, some rockfish, nudibranch, and maybe a seal.

You will be in between boats on the private wharfs and there may be boat traffic so consider bringing a float. Visibility is can be poor, so you may want to dive this spot in winter.
