Jug Island, a shore or kayak dive in Indian Arm

Jug Island can either be reached by kayak, or you can swim from the northern tip of Belcarra Park (see the park map here). If you decide to swim, it is approximately 100 meters to the southern tip of the island, but it is not clear where the best diving is. The shoreline of Jug Island is steep making it hard to access by kayak (more info on kayaking to Jug Island here). There will be boaters in between Belcarra Park and Jug Island, so be careful if you go.

Indian Arm commonly has poor visibility and lots of jellyfish in summer, so this is a good winter dive.
